Kader Sunny is a France-born musician originally from Algeria, now based in Seattle, USA. He developed a unique style he calls SafarBlues, mixing: Chicago-style blues guitar techniques, North African and Arabic rhythms and melodies, and English, French and Arabic lyrics .
Kader Sunny crossed paths with famous bluesmen include blues legends like Luther Alison, Willie Kent, Little Milton, Corey Harris…, and notably Amar Sundy, whose mentorship helped shape his musical direction.
Since early 90, his career took root in Parisian blues circles, where he shared stages with icons such as Joe Louis Walker at the historic Olympia venue and numerous festivals and clubs across France, Europe, Africa.
